Specifications include, but are not limited to: Facilitate and oversee the delivery of training and exercises to the Bay Area UASI Region with an emphasis on facilitating the provision of training and exercise to the Law discipline. Develop and improve the Regional Training and Exercise Program including: systems, policies, procedures, and processes related to requests for training. Ensure compliance and adherence to Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP) policies and procedures. Engage all Bay Area UASI counties and major cities appropriately in the planning process and delivery of training and exercise including: identifying points of contact with each jurisdiction, conducting regional meetings, keeping all stakeholders informed, and relaying information and feedback to the Regional Training and Exercise Project Manager. Research and gather data from regional partners and UASI jurisdictions in order to improve the delivery of training courses and exercises to the Bay Area UASI Region with a focus on new and innovative training methods. Serve as liaison to the training and exercise managers and stakeholders (e.g., Law, Fire, EMS, Health, community groups, vendors/providers, etc.) from across the UASI Region. Attend training and exercise meetings required by the Regional Training and Exercise Project Manager and/or requested by the UASI Management Team.
