Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project includes the installation of Automated Parking Guidance Systems (APGS) for 10 public and private parking facilities located throughout the City. Three (3) of these facilities (two City-owned garages, one privately-owned garage conjointly operated with the City) have existing non-functional VIMOC APGS’s that are to be replaced as part of this project. Further details on these VIMOC system replacements are provided in the Specification. Seven (7) City-owned surface lots which currently have no occupancy counting are to have APGS’s newly installed. The balance of 10 privately-owned or County of San Mateo-owned garages currently have or will in the future have APGS installed in them, but the provision, installation and operation of these 10 APGS’s is not within the scope of this project. However, a plan for the integration of occupancy information from all these current and future APGS’s into the City’s master APGS and wayfinding system is within the scope of this project. The City’s intention is to add occupancy data to the system from the additional privately and County owned/operated garages on a staggered basis over the course of time, as each facility implements an APGS or PARCS system that can provide occupancy data. Bidders are to identify in their pricing proposal either a flat integration cost per additional facility or an hourly rate for additional programing to perform the integration
