(1). The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all existing gutters, downspouts, hangers, and associated items around the building. (2). The Contractor shall inspect the fascia boards and surrounding areas for any dry rot or other structural damage once the old gutters are removed. (3). If dry rot is found, the Contractor shall remediate the affected areas by removing the damaged portions, treating the wood to prevent further deterioration, and replacing the damaged sections with new, treated wood. (4). The Contractor shall install new rain gutters, downspouts, and associated components in accordance with industry standards. (5). The Contractor shall paint or do touch-ups in areas as needed to match existing trim and fascia.
