Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sonoma County Public Infrastructure (County) is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and engineering consultants for an Owner’s Representative, for the Public Health Lab and Morgue Project. Sonoma County Public Infrastructure (County) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide an Owner’s Representative and Project Manager for the Public Health Lab and Morgue Project (CP40038AA). The County has hired COAR Design Group to provide complete design services for this project and will be proceeding with a Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) model to deliver this critical public facility. The purpose of this RFP is to hire a consultant who will act in the County’s interest as a representative and project manager to work directly with the design firm and the CMAR contractor and subs. The Owner’s Representative is required to act in the exclusive interest of the County and Public and actively manage budget, schedule, and delivery functions to ensure the successful completion of this project. The County of Sonoma Department of Health Services (DHS) Public Health Lab and the County of Sonoma Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) Morgue are located on Chanate Road in Santa Rosa. The current facility serves multiple jurisdictions in northern California and is of sub-optimal size, ventilation, and electrical capacity. The new facility will co-locate both offices in the same new building located on Paulin Drive, in Santa Rosa.
