Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of the work to be performed is to effectively involve regional stakeholders in the Sentenac Cienega Watershed Restoration Planning Project in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park® (ABDSP), and to investigate opportunities for community engagement and conservation learning to improve local socioeconomic conditions with explicit focus on the role of these features in the geotourism framework of the regional economy. Stakeholders will be identified through community outreach, and coordination with state and regional agencies and organizations. All data and any analysis is to be made available to ABDSP staff for submission to California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and inclusion into an Ecosystem Restoration Strategy per the requirements outlined in the Watershed Restoration Grant Program Grant Agreement Number P1896003. The work to be performed is only within the defined project area (see attachment 1 Map of Sentenac Cienega Ecosystem Restoration Project). Work is projected to start late summer (August/September) of 2018, and will be completed by spring of 2021.
