Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking a Contractor to provide all necessary construction services, supervision, permits, labor, supplies, equipment, and materials to perform: 1. Furniture and cubicles to be moved and reset by contractor if needed 2. Remove and dispose of existing carpet, cove base, linoleum and damaged VCT floor tiles 3. Prepare substrate for application of new carpet, cove base, linoleum and VCT floor tiles 4. Replace any existing broken or damaged VCT floor tiles 5. Provide preparatory floor work as required by the manufacturer for proper adhesion. Removal of debris and vacuum areas immediately before flooring installation. Repair any holes, cracks, depressions and rough areas using materials approved by the manufacturer for the application intended 6. Supply and install carpeting, cove base, linoleum and VCT floor tilesin identified area’s(see Exhibit A) 7. NOTE: Maintain stock for additional floor covering materials for replacement and maintenance (storage location to be determined) All installations must meet California ADA and California Building Standards;
