Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Encinitas is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to audit its financial statements included in the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the three (3) years starting with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 with two (2) options to extend the term for an additional period of one (1) year each. In addition, the qualified accounting firm will be asked to perform a compliance audit conducted under the provisions of the Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). The audits shall be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Governmental Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
