Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Removal and demolition of one existing parallelogram lift, four existing in-ground lifts, and associated concrete foundations. 2. Removal and demolition of the existing floor slab at the location of the new parallelogram lift. 3. Design-Build Portion of Project: Designing, furnishing and installation of two new flush mount parallelogram lifts and four new in-ground lifts in new foundations. 4. Design-Build Portion of Project: New concrete foundations for the lifts to be designed by the Contractor. The design of the new concrete foundation structures shall be prepared and stamped by a California Registered Structural Engineer. Contractor shall submit the design to the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection for approval prior to SFMTA review. 5. Furnishing and installation of seven motor-operated roll-up doors and two bi-swing gates. Contractor shall demolish and remove the existing doors, door frames and gates. 6. Electrical work required to furnish and install the new lifts and the motor-operated roll-up doors. 7. Soil sampling and laboratory testing for hazardous materials of below-ground soil at the locations of the new lifts. Contractor shall transport excavated soil material for lift foundations to the appropriate landfill sites. 8. Perform Work in phases as specified in the Contract Drawings to minimize construction impacts on the SFMTA’s ongoing maintenance activities,
