1.1 Panel Work: • Provide new electrical control panels in accordance with the plans and specifications. Panels may consist of either custom-fabricated back panels or entirely new enclosures. Work includes connecting and terminating power, network, and I/O to the new electrical control panels. Replace existing electrical control panels or back panels with new assemblies designed to allow efficient cutover from the existing configuration to the new installation. All work must be performed in a manner that minimizes system downtime. Field-verify and document all existing I/O connections prior to cutover. Disconnect and re-terminate or remove power, network, and I/O wiring from the existing control panels to the new electrical control panels as required.
