All pizza to be hand kneaded, fresh cooked, minimum 14-16” in diameter, 8 slices as specified to meet USDA meal pattern protein and grain requirements. Slices to be uniform and consistent in amounts of cheese, pepperoni and tomato sauce. Pizza seasoning shall not contain monosodium glutamate (MSG). Crust must contain 100% whole grain or a blend of whole-grain meal/flour and enriched meal/flour of which at least 50% is whole grain. The remaining 50% or less of grains, if any, must be enriched. Bidder must submit a complete nutrient analysis and sample before bid award can be issued. Calories not to exceed 400, 35% from fat, 10% saturated fat. Available to deliver to Elementary school sites upon request between the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Delivery’s to be made to most Middle and High Schools daily between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Scheduled delivery days and times will vary with each site and shall be determined by the Nutrition Service Department
