Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant would provide professional services to the Department of Human Resources inthe development of written exams and promotional assessment centers for the Police and FireDepartments.In response to the Request for Proposals, the City anticipates receiving competitive rate bids as well as an assurance of quality testing services. The City intends to award one contract, however, may choose to award additional contracts as the City deems necessary to meet the City’s needs.If subsequent contracts are awarded, it will be based on initial bids received in response to thisRFP and must meet all the terms and conditions described herein. Firms that do not submit anoffer at the time of this bid opening will not be considered for any subsequent award.One or more contracts may be awarded under this RFP for a period of one year. Contracts may be extended on a year-to-year basis up to five (5) years at the discretion of the City Manager. Award of a contract does not guarantee that the City will call for or utilize any services under the contract and does not guarantee a Consultant a minimum amount of payment in the event no services are utilized.Promotional Assessment Center and/or Written Exam development may include the following classifications:• Fire Battalion Chief• Fire Captain• Fire Engineer• Fire Recruit• Senior Fire Prevention Officer• Fire Assistant Chief• Police Sergeant• Police Lieutenant
