The 60th Contracting Squadron, Travis Air Force Base (AFB), California is contemplating a solicitation for a multiple award construction contract (MACC). Awarded MACC indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts would be for the construction of structures and facilities, repair, maintenance, and alteration of real property assets within the confines of Travis AFB.
The MACC will serve as the primary contract vehicle for which construction projects identified by Travis AFB will be advertised amongst the identified pool of contractors. The Government is looking to identify small business concerns, to include 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) interested to serve in the capacity of “Prime” contractors and have the capability to accomplish multiple craft type projects through the usage of subcontractors. Possible subcontracting opportunities would be electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression/alarm/detection systems, painting, excavations, road/ asphalt improvements, and HTHW Systems.
