Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Goals: Contractor shall provide the services described herein to accomplish the following goals: 2.1.1. Identify up to 20 candidates, for each cohort, to participate in the training of the Reentry Peer Leadership Academy. 2.1.2. Collaboration with Contractor and SDSD Reentry Services Division (RSD) staff to develop and create a 5-week curriculum that addresses reentry needs and the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. 2.1.3. Upon completion of the Peer Reentry Leadership Academy, Peer Reentry Leaders will enter the Sheriff's Department detention and reentry facilities to engage and deliver information on preventing the spread of COVID-19. In addition, they will motivate the population to access resources in the community to help reduce the likelihood of return to custody. 2.2. Outcome Objectives: Contractor shall achieve the following outcome objectives: 2.2.1. 80% of trainees will successfully complete the Peer Reentry Leadership Academy 2.2.2. Upon SDSD request, 100% of the Peer Reentry Leaders will engage in speaking events after successfully completing the Peer Reentry Leadership Academy. 2.3. Process Objectives: Contractor shall achieve the following process objectives: 2.3.1. Contractor shall conduct training sessions over the course of 5 weeks; frequency of sessions informed by approved curriculum. 2.3.2. Contractor shall conduct training sessions during hours that are most convenient for the trainees, to include evening hours and/or weekends.
