Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1). The Contractor shall provide rental of the number of bins with a paper capacity of two hundred (200) pounds each, as described below: a. Bin(s) shall have lockable device. b. Bins shall have wheels. c. Two (2) keys or combination code to each bin shall be provided to the DMV Office Manager or designee. d. Any broken or stolen locks shall be replaced by the Contractor at no additional cost to the DMV. e. Bin(s) or lid(s) shall be replaced if damaged, at no additional cost to the DMV. f. Placement of the bin(s) shall be designated by the DMV Office Manager or designee. 1. Since the bin(s) are located within the building, the Contractor shall transport the bin(s) in order to complete the service and replace the bin(s) when the service has been completed. (2). The Contractor shall provide on-site confidential document shredding and recyclable paper destruction service as described below: a. Shredding/destruction shall be witnessed by the DMV Office Manager or their designated representative. b. Service shall be performed in a competent, safe, and professional manner by properly trained workers and shall be performed to DMV satisfaction. All materials shall be handled by the Contractor in such a manner as to prevent loss or unauthorized inspection at any time. c. The Contractor shall shred/destroy recyclable paper materials “as is.” Recyclable paper materials, include non-confidential paper and mixed and color paper. 1. The DMV employees shall not be required to sort through the recyclable paper materials and separate them by color or type. Recycled paper material including reasonable amounts of small staples, paperclips, and rubber bands are acceptable. Large volumes of staples, paperclips, and rubber bands are not acceptable.
