Specifications include, but are not limited to: The determination of a need for a Water Supply Assessment (WSA) or Written Verification (WV) will be completed by the City. The City may request an opinion from consultants regarding the need for a WSA or WV. The City Project Manager will notify the Consultant of a project and a request for scope, fee, and any necessary documents. The City may or may not seek a scope and fee from multiple consultants, regardless of the number of consultants on the on-call list.The project will be required to be completed within 90 days of determining a WSA or WV is required. The Consultant will also provide support to the City in creating and/or maintaining a tracking document showing the completed Water Supply Assessments and Written Verifications as well as water supply over time.Water Supply AssessmentThe Water Supply Assessment (WSA) shall address whether the water supplier’s total projected water supplies available during normal, single dry, and multiple dry water years during a 20-year projection will meet the projected water demand of the proposed Project, in addition to the water supplier’s existing and planned future uses, including agricultural and manufacturing uses. If the water demand for the proposed project was accounted for in the most recently adopted UWMP, information from the UWMP related to the projected water demand for the project may also be used.
