Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contracted PrEP-AP Telehealth Clinical Provider will provide culturally appropriate PrEP and nPEP services to PrEP-AP clients who are uninsured, minors, or have confidentiality concerns with using insurance they have through a parent, spouse, or registered domestic partner. PrEP services will include clinically assessing individuals for and prescribing PrEP, and providing ongoing PrEP care and monitoring in accordance with CDC guidelines through a telehealth modality. The PrEPAP Telehealth Clinical Provider will also provide prompt, same day nPEP clinical assessments and prescriptions in accordance with CDC guidelines through a telehealth modality. The PrEP-AP Telehealth Clinical Provider must also establish a process for submitting medical claims electronically through a clearinghouse within 180 days of provided services and maintain contract(s) with external laboratory entities where individuals can receive testing for HIV, STIs, and PrEP initiation screening in accordance with CDC guidelines.
