Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1. Panel Cleaning/Washing - The Contractor shall provide the following services: i. Hand scrub cleaning of solar panels using soft bristled, water fed poles. ii. Use filtered or softened water for panel cleaning/washing to avoid mineral build up on panels. Provide all necessary equipment in a list for Project Manager approval prior to cleaning. iii. Tap water is available at the system site and is provided by WWD for this task. iv. Perform the task exercising the highest degree of efficiency to minimize electric generation loss and/or time that equipment is nonoperated while simultaneously minimizing the amount of damage the equipment experiences due to external forces (e.g., inclement weather, vandalism). These tasks will be charged at the rates for " Panel Cleaning/Washing" under Task 1 in Schedule of Prices. Task 2. Panel Mounting Maintenance -The Contractor shall provide the following services: i. Inspect all system components to verify they sit securely and are corrosion free. ii. Inspect connections to verify they are secure and that all electrical components are clean and undamaged. iii. Inspect equipment grounding. These tasks will be charged at the rates for "Panel Mounting Maintenance" under Task 2 in Schedule of Prices. Task 3. Inverter Maintenance - The Contractor shall provide the following services: i. Visually inspect the units for damage, foreign objects, or dust and debris that may have accumulated around the inverter. ii. Clean out any dirt, insects, cobwebs, water, debris, etc. iii. Wash fan intake screen if any. iv. Clean equipment. Clear any blockage on the wiring box where the heatsink is located. v. In event of malfunction, check the tightness of the cable opening plugs, the fitting of the connectors and front covers. i. Check the DC OV surge arresters 15 (W019 via RS-485 or fault log). ii. Check the AC OV surge arresters 18 (W018 via RS-485 or fault log). iii. Check internal cooling fan (if any) operation (monitor start up for warning). iv. Thermal imaging using infrared (IR) camera or equivalent for loose connections and hot spots. Check torque value for connections. v. Check all connection terminals for discoloration or signs or high temp/current. vi. Check AC pressure connectors of the inverter output circuit. vii. Check DC pressure connectors of the inverter input circuit. viii. Check torque of screws on chassis access covers to ensure NEMA4X compatibility. ix. Remove and replace the memory back-up battery. This task is required every 3 years. Contractor shall complete this task upon request by Project Manager, if required during the term of this service. x. Conduct photovoltaic solar power systems check to maintain correct working performance. This task is required every 5 years. Contractor shall complete this task upon request by Project Manager, if required during the term of this service. These tasks will be charged at the rates for " Inverter Maintenance" under Task 3 in Schedule of Prices.
