Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide Department of State Hospitals (DSH) and the State of California (hereafter referred to as “State”) with a Multi-Organization Network Infrastructure Solution that can be implemented as-a-Service to provide a shared, multi-tenant, secure physical network infrastructure. The Proposer shall include Service Assurance Sensors in their solution. A Service Assurance Sensor, for purposes of this Request for Proposal, is a dedicated endpoint appliance capable of measuring both wired and wireless network availability and quality from the users’ point of view. The Proposer shall include at least two (2) Service Assurance Sensors per floor of the Allenby building. The Proposer shall include one (1) Service Assurance Sensor per Access Switch. In the case of stackable access switches being used, the Proposer shall include one (1) Service Assurance Sensor per member switch of a stack, i.e. not one (1) Service Assurance Sensor for the entire switch stack. The Proposer shall include one (1) Service Assurance Sensor per Aggregation / Distribution and Core Switch. The Proposer shall include one (1) Service Assurance Sensor per Mobility / Wireless LAN Controller.
