The City of Roseville has a rich O365 environment with a multitude of products that are used Citywide for everyday tasks, projects, communication, collaboration and more. Part of being able to provide this robust environment was driven by having a strong Microsoft EA in place for the purpose of ensuring the licensing environment year over year and ability to purchase additional license as needed at a consistent price. The City is looking to establish a relationship with a partner to continue their EA and grow the Microsoft environment. Requested Service: Volume licensing via an Enterprise Agreement (EA) with Microsoft utilizing the Riverside Contract . The current environment is O365 software license, but M365 software license is being considered. Requesting proposals for both licensing types for environment. Proposal Requirements: The City has been approved by Microsoft for a 5-year term if we upgrade to M365 G3 or G5, so 2 proposals should be provided.1.) 3 year-term proposal based on O365 license which mimics the City’s current licensing. 2.) 5-year term proposal based on M365 license upgrade – G3 and G5; the City is currently reviewing M365 license to enhance our environment. In total, vendor should provide the City with 3 proposals – 1 3-year term based on O365 licensing, 1 5-year term based on M365 G3 licensing, and 1 5-year term based on M365 G5 licensing. Experience: The consultant should be a Microsoft Solution Provider and capable of tending to licensing needs as requested, providing costs associated with City EA. Personnel: Consultant personnel shall be knowledgeable of Microsoft licensing and in handling of volume licensing. Maintenance: A yearly true-up will be completed to ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing standards.
