The City of Los Angeles, Office of Mayor Karen Bass (“Mayor’s Office”), is seeking proposals from qualified contractors (“Proposers”) to provide creative direction and brand strategy consulting services. The selected contractor (“Contractor”) shall provide the Mayor’s Office’s with consulting services relating to the Office’s visual identity, brand systems, and storytelling across digital and public-facing communications. The Contractor will help shape and maintain the administration’s creative vision, translate the Mayor’s priorities into clear and compelling visual communications, and ensure consistency, accessibility, and cohesion across initiatives and platforms in alignment with City standards. The Contractor will bring specialized creative expertise to support day-to-day creative direction and execution, collaborate closely with internal teams to develop visual frameworks and content, and elevate the overall quality, clarity, and effectiveness of the Mayor’s Office’s communications. The implementation of the Contractor’s creative leadership will advance key communications objectives through cohesive branding, documented standards, and high-impact visual storytelling that strengthens public understanding and trust.
