Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Accept work under this Agreement only when there is not an implied or potential conflict of interest, and notify State the moment a conflict of interest presents itself. b. Provide all labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to perform Materials Testing and Inspection Services (MT&IS) in conformance with the Project’s approved 100% working drawings and specifications and addenda; hereby referenced and incorporated herein as part of the Agreement; and regulatory requirements as requested by the State. c. Provide staff to be an extension of the State’s inspection team that shall report to the State’s lead on-site Construction Supervisor/Inspector for direction. Contractor to utilize staff from the MT&IS Contractor’s local office nearest fabrication site(s) or utilize a local firm (subcontractor) to perform the services at the rate amount bid in the Cost Worksheet. d. When off-site fabrication is more than 200 MapQuest® miles from the work site, Contractor may obtain subcontractor(s) by bid, when fabricator is known, as a subcontract at rates equal to or less than the Contractor’s bid. If a local office or a subcontractor is not feasible to use, with prior written approval, the State may reimburse Contractor for auto mileage and per diem if the State approves the use of Contractor’s staff. e. Attend coordination, office, and project site meetings as required throughout the Project. Interface with State’s Project Director/Manager, State’s Construction Supervisor/ Inspector, State’s Consulting Construction Manager, Project Architect/Engineer, and Construction Contractor.
