The building is a total of 5 stories facing 43rd avenue, with 4 stories facing 42nd avenue, on a sloping site. The project will meet CalGreen requirements in place when submitting for Site Permit. SF Green Code compliance will be met through either the LEED or Green Point Rated program. The project will meet SFPUC storm water requirements. Entitlements: Assist BAR and MPH review design options as needed for planning and design approval, such as code, advice on structural systems, electrical service or mechanical systems. Provide design options as a narrative or sketches. Attend up to 2 meetings, either in person or via web conference Schematic Design Phase: Review the in-progress set of documents and prepare a report summarizing design issues and comments, including feedback on code requirements and systems. Assist with developing sustainable strategy. Assist general contractor with preliminary cost estimate Issue Project Narrative and SD drawings Attend up to four meetings with the design team, owner and/or contractor. Complete project related administrative tasks include preparation for and attendance at meetings, communications with consultant and development team and project specific management tasks. Assist Project Team in “right-sizing” MEP requirements. Provide preliminary Fire Sprinkler Design Criteria Perform preliminary Title 24 modeling Assist design team in quantifying energy use goals for compliance with Architecture 2030 Challenge. o Provide Energy Use Intensity (pEUI) for the project, expressed in kBtu/sf/yr. Include predicted baseline code compliance energy performance. o Provide Lighting Power Density (LPD) for the project, expressed in Watts/SF
