Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Responsibilities of the Manager Utilization of Golf Course and Golf Course Maintenance Facilities. City shall allow Manager the nonexclusive use of the service yards, buildings, and maintenance areas located at the Golf Course, to work out of and store equipment and supplies for the maintenance of the Golf Course. The City will be entitled to various uses of Golf Course facilities under the proposed Agreement. The guidelines and criteria for eligible requests for City Use and approval of a request shall be established by the City. City Use shall include the following: Use of the clubhouse and/or patio areas up to eight (8) times per year for a City business-related purpose. Capacity would be determined by Manager based on the time of the event and other activities occurring at the course/clubhouse. All food and beverage charges would be the responsibility of the user. The City will be allowed three (3) shotgun tournaments per year, scheduled between Mondays and Thursdays. Organizers of the City’s shotgun tournaments, under this provision, will be required to pay greens fees for no less than 128 players (whether 128 players or a lesser number show up to play on the date and time of the event) plus cart fees. If between 129 and 144 players participate in the tournament, the organizer will be responsible for greens, fees for all players. All food and beverage associated with any shotgun tournament would be the responsibility of the event organizer. One (1) shotgun tournament will be allowed in the morning to begin at the time the course normally opens. The greens, fees .and cart fees charged, would be at the regular rates (weekday greens fees). Two (2) shotgun tournaments will be allowed in the afternoon. During the “peak” season (May through September) such tournament would begin at 2:00 PM or after. During the “shoulder” season (October, November) such tournament would begin no earlier than 1:00 mPM and no later than 2:00 PM and during March/April no earlier than noon or later than 1PM. Greens fees and cart fees charged will be 25% off the regular rates (weekday greens fees). The City is not precluded from scheduling other tournaments directly with the course manager. Manager understands that the property upon which the Los Lagos Golf Course is located is divided into three (3) distinct zones for purposes of maintenance standards and responsibilities.
