Specifications include, but are not limited to: The pipeline project work consists of construction of a complete functional pipeline system including, but not limited to associated appurtenances including fire hydrants, isolation valves, blow-offs, air release valves, a connection to the existing system at the southern end of the project (intersection of Shadow Valley Lane and Bouquet Canyon Road), and installation of individual residential meters at up to eighteen (18) locations. The work includes furnishing, installing, disinfecting and pressure testing the pipeline and appurtenances. The work for the pipeline shall also include obtaining encroachment permits with the City of Santa Clarita and Los Angeles County based on pipeline location as required, and all work shall include traffic control and pavement restoration in accordance the relevant encroachment permits. The onsite pump station project includes below grade piping, manifolds, and supports that will convey water from the 12-inch pipeline and 4-inch master meter in front of LARC Ranch to the new pump station located within LARC property, and discharge to the existing onsite LARC distribution system that feeds into an existing 275,000-gallon reservoir. The onsite pump station project includes a complete functional pump station with new electrical system, and a packaged duplex pump assembly with two ten (10)-horsepower pumps. The project includes new level instrumentation on the existing reservoir, installation of a solar power tank mixer, and radio telemetry to start/stop the pumps on low/high levels in the reservoir. The pump station will be housed in a 13-feet 4-inch by 13-feet 4-inch reinforced masonry block wall structure with galvanized roof.
