Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA) is soliciting proposals for investment
management services. ACTA is a joint-powers authority created by the cities of Los Angeles and
Long Beach in 1989 to develop, finance, construct, and operate the Alameda Corridor. The
Alameda Corridor is a triple-track freight railway that extends 20 miles from the ports of Los
Angeles and Long Beach to downtown Los Angeles. The two largest Class 1 railroads in the
country, Union Pacific Railroad and BNSF Railway, operate on the Corridor serving the largest port
complex in the nation.
