Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant shall monitor the biological resources of the Preserves to ensure that the integrity of the property is maintained. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the selected Consultant shall follow all government guidelines while performing work for OCTA in general, the monitor will be expected to survey the Preserves on a regular basis and help determine threats and stressors that may impact Covered Species and natural communities. The amount of monitoring should be determined based on Preserve-specific resources and needs. Frequency of monitoring is flexible and dependent on the resources and threats. It is anticipated that frequency would increase to monthly visits during the spring and perhaps decrease during the winter months. The extent of attention needed on each Preserve may shift and will be determined in consultation with OCTA and must be consistent with the approved budget.
