RTA invites proposals from qualified consultants to advise the Agency on its insurance placement that may include, but not be limited to Liability, Crime, Employment Practices Liability, Terrorism Insurance, Pollution and Environmental Insurance, Business Interruption, Boiler & Machinery, Property, Excess Workers Compensation and (DIC) Earthquake and Flood. (Refer to Appendix A: Schedule of Coverages and Supplemental Information in Appendix B: Statement of Values) The Agency may elect for the consultant to compare the pooled program with outside insurance opportunities and make appropriate recommendations on the placement of the insurance programs to Agency staff, and/or Agency’s Board of Directors. Consultant shall list these additional services, which are currently pooled, as a breakout elective cost in the overall pricing of the brokerage fee and include any additional support costs for placing these particular lines of coverage. Services requested include, but are not limited to, reporting claims to excess carriers, providing requested certificates of insurance and endorsement documents, monitoring claims and evaluating loss-control for these additional lines of coverage, assistance with data collection, management of online vehicle schedules, process/issuance of insurance cards, effectively interacting with RTA’s Third-Party Administrator, etc. should all be taken into consideration.
