Specifications include, but are not limited to: The target population is San Francisco families who may be eligible to receive CalWORKs benefits which includes: Families with a dependent child/ren in the home; Needy caretaker relatives of a foster child(ren); Pregnant women in their 2nd trimester; Teen mom or parents; and child/ren of undocumented parents Families’ income must be around 100% Federal Poverty Level after deductions and must meet the program resource criteria. The target population will be representative of the city’s diverse racial, ethnic, and language demographics. Information and Referral A. Raise awareness of the CalWORKs program benefits. B. Distribute CalWORKs informational materials to engage prospective applicants. C. Refer prospective applicants to apply for benefits online through MyBenefitsCalWIN.org. HSA Responsibilities A. Provide CalWORKs informational documents for distribution. B. Educate organizations on how to refer prospective applicants to HSA. C. Educate organizations on how to assist their customers to apply for CalWORKs online. Funding Awarded respondents will receive $250 for each of their documented referrals that result in an approved CalWORKs application.
