Specifications include, but are not limited to: Referrals. Contractor will receive a referral from Probation to place clients into interim housing. Contractors will receive referrals based upon the hierarchy of the client’s needs. The hierarchy of the client’s needs is determined by Probation’s assessment of the client. 5.1.1.1. Contractor shall respond to referral in 48 hours or less, including weekends and holidays. 5.1.1.2. Contractor shall contact client within 48 hours or less upon receiving referral from Probation. 5.1.1.3. Contractor shall verify client that has been referred by Probation through centralized Probation staff with a Community Resource Directory (CRD) referral to follow, prior to acceptance into the program. Verification is required to ensure proper funding is in place. If a client is placed into housing without appropriate referral from Probation, Contractor shall not be paid for the ineligible client. 5.1.1.4. Contractor shall presumptively test clients for prohibited substances upon referral into the program and notify the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or designee of positive results prior to intake into the program
