b. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to; (1) Project includes the excavation, demolition and removal of existing heating hot water supply & return piping at two vaults (Building 300 – Vault #3 & Building 1200 – Vault #7). Scope of work also includes demolition & removal of insulation & jacketing from the chilled water supply & return piping at Vault #3 & #7; cleaning of chilled water pipe surface and reporting significant corrosion and/or compromised piping; provide & install new pre-fabricated heating hot water supply & return piping; cleaning & painting of chilled water supply & return piping; sealing of all piping penetrations; pressure testing of all newly installed piping; provide water treatment services to flush, drain, and treat the entire heating & hot water distribution system (approximately 25,000 gallons); installation of pipe bedding, detectable tape, backfill, and repair surfaces to match adjacent landscaping/hardscape.
