Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Existing GIS data will be provided by Town staff to assist with locating known assets, but the Proposer is expected to verify (QA/QC) accuracy of provided data and make corrections, as well as collect data on any assets that are not currently in GIS. 2. Collect all GPS points at center of the structure/casting. All attributes required will be inputted while the crew is at the structure. 3. For any asset not visible from the surface, collect a position at the estimated location, along with attribute notation of the reason it could not be located (buried, cannot access, pavement, obstructed). 4. Provide a photo of each asset. 5. Provide additional ancillary data of each asset type. Such data may include, but is not limited to, the sample data requests provided in Table 1. 6. The estimated locations of assets in relation to the street centerline are provided in Table 2. Assets outside of the street pavement may be located in easements, private property, Town open space, steep terrain, heavily vegetated areas, and/or other areas with difficult access. 7. Town staff will assist with coordinating private property access as needed. 8. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of survey software and hardware, as well as Esri applications such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS 10.x software. All digital deliverables must include FGDC (Federal Geographic Data Committee) standard metadata. The final deliverable shall use the following projected coordinate system: NAD 1983 (2011) StatePlane California III FIPS 0403 (US Feet). The preferred final deliverable will be in either a shapefile or file geodatabase format.
