Specifications include, but are not limited to: These professional services are anticipated to include engineering, environmental, real estate, and supporting technical disciplines necessary to advance a comprehensive urban flood risk reduction program. This flood program includes the planning, design, and construction of single objective flood risk reduction projects as well as the development and implementation of multi-objective projects that incorporate ecosystem enhancement and increased recreational opportunities along with flood risk reduction. These flood projects are generally developed and implemented in close partnership with other local, state, and federal agencies. The selected firm(s) shall provide support services in one or more of the following service areas (1) Civil Engineering, (2) Geology and Geotechnical Engineering, (3) Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering, (4) Surveying, (5) Real Estate Support (Appraisal and Acquisition), (6) Environmental Planning and Permitting, (7) Cultural Resource Support, and (8) Value Engineering. The details of each service area are provided below and are described as typical requirements to deliver the Projects.
