Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide Fire Alarm Testing and Maintenance Services to Pasadena Unified Schools within Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre. a) Testing and Maintenance: Perform routine and annual fire alarm testing for all school sites referenced below per LBFD NFPA72 Requirements. To ensure jurisdictional compliance with inspection, testing and maintenance laws to meet the needs of local code officials. Annual testing and routine maintenance costs shall be included in the proposal. The annual required testing of the fire alarm panels, and related equipment shall be in accordance with NFPA 72 test methods and the 2019 California Fire Code. Contractors must include in their proposals a brief description of their testing methodology and the estimated time frame to perform the testing. All alarm testing shall be performed after business hours or on weekends. Contractors shall include the appropriate labor rates in their proposals.
