Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Low Voltage Estimated Annual Amount of Services: $1,000,000 Low voltage services include but are not limited to: installs, services and maintains all types of communication and low voltage systems which are energy limited and do not exceed 91 volts. These systems include, but are not limited to telephone systems, sound systems, cable television systems, closed-circuit video systems, satellite dish antennas, nurse call, access control, instrumentation and temperature controls, and low voltage landscape lighting. Some DPH sites may require site-specific hazardous materials training for awareness and handling prior to performing work. 2) Electrical Estimated Annual Amount of Services: $1,750,000 Electrical maintenance services include but are not limited to: the following wire and repair services: equipment installation, lighting retrofit, power supplies, transformer replacement, circuit fault troubleshooting, motor wiring, power cable splicing, raceway installation, low voltage signal wire and data systems. Bidder must be able to respond to emergencies with a callback not exceeding one hour and an on-site presence not exceeding four hours. Some DPH sites may require site-specific hazardous materials training for awareness and handling prior to performing work. 3) Painting Estimated Annual Amount of Services: $600,000 Painting maintenance services include but are not limited to: wall preparation, fire tape and mud work, graffiti removal, multiple coat painting, spray gun painting, metal surface preparation, surface feathering and color mixing. All painting contractors must have supervisors and workers lead certified, through a certified lead abatement training program although services will not include lead testing or abatement. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure and maintain current certification of all staff and supervisors. Lead certification is for awareness and containment purposes, not meant for general abatement. Some DPH sites may require sitespecific hazardous materials training for awareness and handling prior to performing work.
