Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Radio Coverage Vendor must be able to provide a radio coverage network for the FSP fleet that utilizes the 450 UHF network and be able to lease Kenwood NX-3280HGK units for use by the tow contractors until the FSP beats come up for renewal. When the tow contractors come up for renewal, the tow contractors will purchase the units and the Vendor will only be responsible for programming of the units. The scope of work includes: 1. System. Reliable, uninterrupted 450 UHF radio coverage throughout the 9-County Bay Area FSP service areas as indicated in the FSP Map shown in Appendix A-2 and indicated in the Appendix A-3 FSP Implementation Plan. 2. Connectivity. Provide and maintain the Kenwood base station equipment that resides at the CHP Golden Gate Division offices located at 1551 Benicia Road, Vallejo CA. Provide preventative maintenance for, and ensure compatibility of, the MTC SAFE base station radio equipment with the Kenwood NX-3820HGK units in the field. Responsible for establishing and troubleshooting the connection between the Kenwood Base Stations and the CHP AVTEC console.
