Services will include, but not limited to, the assessment of the existing conditions, development of design ready construction documents including all necessary equipment specification, quantities, locations and project diagrams needed to solicit proposals from qualified electrical contractors for the installation of a new stationary generator, new transfer switch, and possibly new enclosure, pad, conduit and conductors. • Obtain all existing building plans, studies, maintenance, and performance records. • Perform an on-site assessment of the existing system and equipment. • Identify all existing components and calculate the building electrical load to ensure the new system is sized appropriately. • Design a complete, new, modern backup generator system including specifications, details, submittals, and installation. • Coordinate with Yolo -Solano Air Quality Management District (YSAQMD) to file the Authority to Construct permit application package. The filing fees will be paid by the City.
