Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of Ontario Public Works Agency is seeking the services of an electronic waste recycling company to securely recycle electronics at a reasonable cost and provide recycling services at large City events. • The Contractor shall accept electronic waste items from the City Yard in accordance with the required Scope of Services published in the bid document • Collection of electronic waste at the City of Ontario Utilities Yard two (2) times per week (Mondays and Thursdays), from the Household Hazardous Waste Facility (Mondays) and during Special City Collection Events a (up to 4 times per year on Saturdays). • Must accept waste, free of charge from Ontario residents and businesses; • State the California permitted recycling facility used; • Provide all labor, supplies, and equipment for collection, including but not limited to: forklifts, pallets, safety equipment, and staffing for sign-in. All equipment will be in a good and safe condition; • Upon request, provide certificate of destruction of waste for any participant; • Advise of payment rate to City for CRT’s collected (per pound); • Provide a detailed list of acceptable/non-acceptable electronics; • Provide a detailed list of payments for each item accepted (per pound); • All E-waste, equipment, and other materials must be removed by the end of the collection day • Working area must be cleaned of all debris at end of the collection day; • Vendor will need to provide an after-hours contact phone number.
