Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project will replace the existing medium and low-voltage distribution equipment with new equipment. The Project will construct two new medium voltage switchgear buildings with one building housing 15 kV class switchgear, which will be electrically connected to an existing switchgear lineup while the other medium voltage electrical building will house 5 kV class switchgear. A medium voltage transformer will be installed to feed the 5 kV class switchgear from the 15 kV class switchgear. Three substation buildings will be constructed, which will contain close couple unit substations as well as motor control. New buildings will be cast-in-place construction, as grade, on auger cast piles. The unit substations will be fed from the 5 kV class switchgear and will refeed existing downstream motor control centers. The Project also includes the demolition of existing, and installation of new, electrical duct banks. The Project also includes the installation of a new waste gas flare, digester gas piping installation, stormwater conveyance improvements, which include the installation of an underground stormwater detention structure and grading and paving. Maintenance of treatment plant processes is required during equipment cutovers. Outages of equipment will be limited.
