The City of El Cerrito is seeking proposals from firms interested in providing Owner’s Representation, Project Management, and Design and Construction Management Services to the City throughout the design and construction of a new library. The project consists primarily of Tenant Improvements (Tis) integrated on the ground floor of a mixed-use 79-unit affordable housing building within the El Cerrito Plaza Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project, as well as some site design elements to support the overall function, access, and operation of the new library. The City seeks responses from an individual or team (“Consultant”) to represent the City’s interests at each stage of the process including overseeing the selection of a Design Team and Construction Contractor, including development of the contract scopes, budget, design process, construction plans, and construction.
