This project will focus on the seismic improvement of the building and code-triggered work. Additional linear and nonlinear ASCE 41-17, Tier 3 analyses will be required as part of the pre-design phase of this project. This further analysis may improve the SPR and potentially reduce the scope of required seismic strengthening. Renovations will include building improvements required or impacted by the seismic remediation project scope of work. Building upgrades may include but are not limited to, seismic improvements and necessary restoration to impacted mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, along with ADA-triggered scopes of work. Limited program improvements may also be requested by the University to be evaluated during the pre-design phase and potentially be incorporated into this project's scope.
