Specifications include, but are not limited to: New model year 2021 or newer OFX-2822 Offset Disc 1. General Construction: a. The disc furnished shall be 16’ 4” wide, offset design, stubble disc. b. The disc furnished shall be equipped with two (2) gang beam assemblies for support of the blades. Each assembly shall be constructed of a minimum of three (3), four (4) inch by six (6) inch minimum heavy wall steel tubes. c. The disc furnished shall be equipped with two (2), dual wheel assemblies for supporting the disc during transport. Each wheel shall be a minimum 16" x 8" design with eight-bolt pattern. Each wheel shall be equipped with a minimum 12.5L x 16, 8 ply rated tire. 2. Blades/Bearings/Cleaners: a. The disc furnished shall be equipped with a minimum of twenty-eight (28), thirty-two (32) inch diameter, notched stubble edge blades. Each blade shall be a minimum of 3/8 inch thick with hardened faces for increased wear durability. b. The disc blade spacing shall be fourteen (14) inches for the front and the rear. c. The disc furnished shall be equipped with a disc blade cleaner for 16’4’ cut disc. d. The disc furnished shall be equipped with grease able ball bearings in a heavy cast frame. Each bearing shall have self-aligning triple lip seals. e. The disc furnished shall be equipped with gang rods constructed of minimum 2-1/4" square high carbon steel.
