The Contractor will acquire high resolution 360-degree digital street-level imagery and street-level Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data of various areas within the County of Los Angeles, and provide a solution, including tools and integration capabilities, to enable access to the imagery and LiDAR data. The solution will be used in County mapping and asset management systems, and must include the ability to measure location, distance, slope, and area from the imagery, extract geographic features as GIS data, and download imagery and LiDAR as necessary. The initial project scope includes the capture of approximately 10,000 miles of roadway in the Unincorporated portion of Los Angeles County, and the establishment of a contract which will enable LAR-IAC members to capture and host additional miles.
