Consultant will develop content and complete tasks related to the following project activities: I. Project Background and Research: Complete background research in close collaboration with the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies to determine existing sources of information on the Armenian American communities in Los Angeles to include primary and secondary source materials, designated resources, and resources identified through the citywide historic resources survey, SurveyLA, and other surveys. Develop a preliminary list of themes to be covered in the historic context statement and identify sources consulted. II. Community Engagement: Develop and implement a community engagement strategy in close collaboration with the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies to solicit input from Armenian American leaders, community members, subject matter experts, organizations identified in Task 1B and other stakeholders.
