Specifications include, but are not limited to: Due to high volume and complexity of the services provided to over 473, 000 unique patients within Los Angeles County, to adequately record those services in the clinical documentation, close the documentation and data collection gaps, and eliminate manual work process, DHS is implementing the System software to streamline and automate the ability to chart and collect more accurate and complete patient care data and to provide technology and software solutions to assist DHS staff throughout the documentation life cycle, from initial note writing to final coding. The System includes Voice Recognition (VR), Real-Time Provider Documentation Improvement (RTPDI), Computer Assisted Clinical Documentation Improvement (CACDI), and Computer Assisted Coding (CAC), refer to Exhibit A, Statement of Work, for details.
