Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) A physician shall be on call at all times for provision of those crisis stabilization services that may only be provided by a physician. b) There shall a minimum of one registered nurse, psychiatric technician, or licensed vocational nurse on site at all times when consumers are present. c) Ensure that the head of service is a licensed mental health professional or other appropriate individual. 2) Provide number and specific description of rooms necessary to provide the required services (therapy, kitchens, bedroom, etc.) 3) Children/Adolescents and Adults are to be served in separate areas within the facility. 4) Maintain separate 24/7 crisis stabilization and crisis walk-in programs for children and adults. 5) Maintain the facility and equipment, and operate continuously with at least the number and classification of staff required for the provision of services. 6) Obtain the prior written consent of the Director of DBH or the designee before terminating outpatient services or providing services at another location. 7) Have a location that is accessible by public transportation on an easy-toaccess road approved by DBH.
