Specifications include, but are not limited to: The laboratory or its subcontractors where utilized, shall employ currently approved methodologies for all analyses. Detection limits shall be at a low enough level to allow results to be defensible, accurate, and consistent. Reports of analyses shall be clearly marked, or printed on forms acceptable to appropriate regulatory agencies. The laboratory shall provide, if requested, reports of analyses directly to regulatory agencies (e.g., California Regional Water Quality Control Board, etc.) in conformance with the requirements of this agency. Failure to report results within ten (10) days will result in a ten (I 0%) percent per day reduction in the contract price for late sample results. The Contract Lab will be required to hold the samples for two (2) months unless the City authorizes discarding a sample. The laboratory director, or an authorized signatory official, shall sign all reports. A PDF copy report, with the QC included, and original signature shall be emailed to the City. All direct electronic reports of analyses for all analyzed samples shall be sent to the attention of the following City representatives: 1. Lab Technician 2. Water & Wastewater Superintendent 3.
