A. Contractor to provide enhanced supervision (monitoring) services, in an observe and report capacity, for the DSH, Conditional Release Program for individuals determined by the court to meet the criteria of an SVP. B. “Monitoring” or “Enhanced Supervision” will include, generally, the following: observing, maintaining regular surveillance of, listening and reporting on CONREP SVP clients. The monitoring requirements will change depending on the circumstances and the monitoring parameters will be communicated by DSH, or the designated service provider, to the contractor. Enhanced supervision provides a higher degree of supervision in instances where there is or may be community reaction to a client’s placement, the client may experience an adjustment to placement or there are high-risk circumstances related to the placement. Enhanced supervision is intended to provide assistance to DSH to assure the client is adjusting to the placement and provide a safety presence for the client and the community. C. Contractor to comply with court orders when enhanced supervision services are ordered or when DSH determines a CONREP SVP client requires a higher level of monitoring supervision while in the community.
