Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Scope of service in this contract is to remove and replace existing pedestrian concrete sidewalks and vehicular drive isles and replace with 3 1/2” or 5 ½” concrete at various locations in parks and streets within the Elk Grove city boundaries (see Exhibit B). • District shall identify concrete in need of replacement, mark sections with white paint, and pin locations using GIS software. Locations will include type of damage, square footage of concrete, photo, and any special instructions to include but not limited to, need for saw cutting or if it is vehicular concrete. Contractor shall be given access to GIS app and must be capable of using it. • When assigning work throughout each year, District will supply contractor with a map showing the area on the GIS app and ask that all of locations in that area be replaced (see example in Exhibit B). District will try to keep the quantities around a total of 2,500 sq. ft. or larger for each work assignment and in the same geographic area to make it more efficient for the Contractor. Work assignments will be given typically 3 to 5 times a year. Once assignments are given, contractor will be given 30 days to start assignments in order to finish other pending job they might have.
