Specifications include, but are not limited to: Community Development Block Grant Administration and Home Improvement Program Support Services. The selected consultant will administer the City’s CDBG program under the direction of City staff on an on-call basis for 2 years, with an option to renew the contract for an additional 3 years. The City receives in the range of $800,000 - $900,000 per year in Block Grant funding. The CDBG program is under the guidance of the Community and Economic Development Department. The City has numerous programs, implemented by sub-recipients, which provide services for the residents of Rancho Cucamonga with CDBG funds. Those various programs include Fair Housing, Senior Nutrition, Homeless Assistance, Landlord/Tenant Mediation, After School Youth Programs and others. In addition, other Departments within the City and organizations serving the citizens of the City provide certain CDBG qualified capital improvements, acquisitions and programs.
