Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pursuant to California Government Code sections 53060 and 4525, et seq. the San Diego Unified School District (“District”) is soliciting written statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms and persons to provide civil engineering and land surveying services at various traditional and charter schools throughout the District. Primarily, the services will support the Facilities Planning and Construction Division’s bond programs. District capital improvements are funded by General Obligation bond measures Propositions S and Measures YY and U. The District is comprised of 175 UTK-12 school sites and serves approximately 95,011 students making it the second largest school district in California and one of the largest urban school districts in the United States. The District also authorizes 41 charter schools with some located on District-owned property.
